leMYNK has grown to be an amazing sustainable salon, thanks to the support and backing of my vision from back in 2019. That year was a special one when we chose to take the major step towards a cleaner, greener way of hairdressing. This has changed and is continuing to change our practices for the better and for this I am very proud. None of it would be possible though without my kick ass team. They are wonderful humans and I am very blessed!
I really enjoy all aspects of hairdressing, particularly short hair cutting, long hair seamless colour work and training my junior staff. Nothing gets me more excited then to see my team grow in knowledge and self confidence.
In my spare time you'll find me on our little farm in the tablelands, chasing my 2 little adventurous children, having a wine and good laugh with our close friends and husband Brett. Nothing makes me feel more at home! Oh and I am usually exercising or training for something extreme or ridiculous."

"Hi my name is Molly, I have been in the hair industry for 6 years and became apart of the LeMynk team in March 2023. Originally i am from Sydney but i moved to Cairns in 2019 to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle.
My favourite services are creating live-in blondes, balayages and upstyling. The thing i love most about hairdressing is making each and every one of my clients feel beautiful.
When I'm not at work, I love spending time exploring FNQ with my friends, or relaxing at home with my family and my animals.
My favourite thing about LeMynk is the amazing team we have. We are more than co-workers, we are family."

"Hi I am Morgan, but most people just call me Morgz or Morgie. I have now been apart of the LeMynk family for 8 years. In this time i have watched Jaz and the salon grow and have been apart of some monumental changes.
I love that over the years we have grown to be a clean, low tox salon thanks to OWAY. It's so fulfilling knowing that we are able to create amazing hair that is healthy for both the client and stylist.
I had spent most of 2023 on maternity leave welcoming our baby boy Percy into the world and trying to navigate motherhood.
In my spare time I enjoy doing something creative and crafty or baking.
Im so excited to come back into the salon for 2024 to see our amazing clients and to be creative with hair again."

"Hi my name is Kate, I'm a newly qualified stylist with a big passion for hair. I grew up in the tablelands but moved down to cairns to persue my dreams.
My favourite skill set is creating beautiful blondes using micro-fine foiling techniques to create 'that' seamless blend.
In my spare time you will find me doing activities involving the ocean. Whether that is painting it or exploring the reef. My current hobby is volunteering at the turtle rehabilitation centre in the cairns aquarium.
What i love about working at LeMynk is the amazing low-tox and sustainable products we use. I love caring for your hair and our planet at the same time."
ELLIE ⎮ 3rd yr emerging stylist
"Hi my name is Ellie, I joined the LeMynk team as a school based apprentice in 2021 and am now coming close to completing my apprenticeship. Over the last 6 months i have been perfecting my foil work and learning cutting techniques which i have loved every second of.
So far in my career, i enjoy doing foil transformations and bright face frames. I love making each person that sits in my chair feel amazing about themselves.
When I'm not at work, I'm either snorkelling on the reef or up at tinaroo wakeboarding. I love being anywhere that i can swim
The part i love most about working at LeMynk is feeling like i am working with my best friends."

"Hey everyone, I'm Gia! I have just finished school to begin my journey as a hairdresser and I am loving it!
So far my favourite skill that I have learnt is blowdrying. Admiring the colour as I go and the satisfaction of making the hair as smooth as possible.
On my weekends I love to be in the sun at the beach or by the pool reading my favourite romances."

I love being apart of the LeMynk family as they are really encouraging and supportive. I also love that we use eco-friendly products and practice sustainability.
I really enjoy getting to know our clients, watching their transformations and seeing them walk out feeling beautiful and confident. I look forward to learning off the amazing stylists here in hope that one day i will be able to make the same impact on our clients that they do.
